Swedish – gentle/moderate pressure: a gentle massage that can improve circulation, reduce stress and improve one's mental outlook.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage: MLD is a gentle manual treatment technique. It improves the activity of the lymphatic vessels by mild mechanical stretches on the wall of the lymph collectors under the skin. MLD – is not massage it is superficial on the skin. It removes excess lymphatic fluid, toxins and reduces swelling.
Reiki: A simple hands on technique improves energy flow on the physical, emotional and spiritual level.
Energy Work: A therapy through energy work that initiates healing and well-being. Well suited for persons suffering from depression, fatigue, and /or anxiety. Energy work is also a method that enhances personal growth and spiritual enlightenment.
Reflexology: Based on the theory that the feet and hands are mirror images of the body. Applies pressure, stretch and movement to the feet and hands in order to affect corresponding parts of the body. By stimulating different areas of the feet, the reflexologist can break up tension in the relexively related areas.
Aromatherapy: The use of natural plant oil in pursuit of emotional, physical, or aesthetic well being. The practice of aromatherapy makes use of many different essential oils blended together to aid in providing a specific health benefit.
Medical Massage / Muscle Energy Techniques (METs): A system of manual therapy that address dysfunction and pain within the musculoskeletal system. The medical massage therapist assesses the client to determine what structures are affected and then supplied specific soft tissue techniques designed to alleviate pain, normalize tonicity, and restore range of motion.
Hydrotherapy: The use of water as a medical treatment, using moist, hot towels.
Meditation / Guided Imagery: Uses the power of imagination to relax and heal. A therapist will guide you on a relaxing journey to aid in healing.
